When and for how long to flush?

Ive only been feeding half strength organic seaweed with half strength PK mix every 3rd water, in soil.. Some articles say to flush 2 weeks before harvest and some say a few days. Help! Which one is correct/ best please in this situation? ie no chemicals anyway.. Thanks.

you dont really need to flush a soil unless you have nutrition issues, you can just give the plant water with no nutrients for the last couple of weeks

I do the same as 9fingerleafs does. The last couple of weeks, just water. I do keep giving them molasses.

It mainly nourishes the soil. Some people claim that it makes the buds taste better but I can't say for sure that it does. I use 1 tablespoon per gallon every time I water only. Which is normally every other time I water. I have 2 plants right now that are ready for harvest any day now and 2 that have another week or so. I just harvested 2 yesterday. I have been water only for the last week.

kingfish Thanks. I will try on my next grow as this one is my first grow, I love her to bits and Im about 2 weeks from harvest and Im terrified of altering anything that Im giving her just in case. Its been a long haul! I will do an experiment with 2 plants next, one with molasses and one without. Thanks again.
