What would be the best way to grow "Bag Seed"

I was wondering and what better place then here, where I can pick the brains of pure genius, and I apologize if this question was asked/answered elsewhere, what would be the best way of starting a grow with "bag seed". Would it be better to start a bunch of seeds in small containers under a 12/12 light schedule or better to randomly plant seeds and grow them under a 18/6 light schedule? I tried growing two random bag seeds and after 2 months of veg and weeks of careful pruning and topping and LS Training and almost a month of flowering they turned out to be boys😱.....!!!OFF WITH THEIR ROOTS!!!!😈 So you see the dilemma in my question..any ideas? vivat crescat floreat.👹

Im sure there are a few dozen ways to skin this cat. The best thing would be to try and identify the male sooner.

That said, I would recommend getting the seed from a reputable breeder- you have a higher chance of getting what you're looking for. And you can drill down to genetics, breeders, cup winners, cbd,cdn, thc height width etc. Id much rather focus all of my time and energy and patience with a proven seed thats female so I can hedge most of the bets ahead of time.

I just started a couple of mystery seeds (same concept as bagseeds).
I will germinate as usual (but in small containers) under 20/4 schedule- once you can take some cuttins (ie top) or otherwise- then place those cuttings in 12/12 and within 2 weeks you will know the sex of the plants.
