What were you doing in 1977

How interesting. That makes us the same age. I swear I thought you were old enough to be my parents, or maybe an uncle. That's why I was giving you so much respect.
 
Riding a highly modified dirt bike wearing only cutoffs, a T shirt and tenisshoes with up to 8 ozs of weed stuffed in my shorts. Then selling those oz's at a pinball machine for $10 (the "out of order" button on the soda machine was beer). Just for fun I would take the sheriff for a nice little case, but he never followed me off the cliff. After a while they gave up chasing me.
 
The rec room at the first aid squad I volunteered at had one of those soda machines. They didn't try to hide it, the last two slots were for beer. Everyone under age was on the honor system for not taking beer. Now that I think of it, the machine didn't even need coins. There was a donation box on top of the machine. There was always extra $ in the box for the amount of soda and beer removed.
 
Damn I thought Texas schools were tough becasue it was 2 licks if you didnt have your shirt tail tucked in, To this day I rarely tuck in my shirt tail. I think they were happy when I skipped school and I dont blame them
 
Yep, lost my license to boot. Figured that county didn't need a fine upstanding young man as myself and I didn't go back.
