What kind of Nutrient line do you guys run?

Are you talking to me 9finger? In my idea the ones who need any such calculators may better stay away from working with raw salts. To be honest, calculations need no calculator, at least for me. Yes it may not save me any money but it gives me full control over plant nutrition. I'm not chemist but my inorganic chemistry knowledge is excellent, so i know all interactions and much more. Ready to use for me? :)

Thanks but let me show you one or two nutrient stocks of mine. I formulated them myself.

concentrations are in molar unit.

Yeah I see. And if that's what you been giving your plants they seem to work fine. I know just basic chemistry and used a calculator to know how many parts per million each gram of each salt will add to one liter of water. This is because most common knowledge of plant nutrition is measured by EC and translated into ppms to be understood more easily. But you seem to have it all figured out. Congrats. I can see you keep the nitrogen away from the potassium. Basically what every single liquid nutrient does. Is there a reason they don't have phosphorus? You have a third solution for it? The micro nutrients are in another solution too? I just find it very interesting but really don't know much chemistry

Another question. What's the final EC of the water with nutrients? What are you using to manage ph? Hydro buffers or potassium carbonate to rise and citric acid to lower?

Btw I know mg/L is the same as ppm but I wonder if you are making concentrates and dilute before watering or mix salts to reach those values every time you water? Measuring 2.2mg it's very hard. If you making concentrates how much are you actually putting into one little of water? I had a hard time dissolving 30x concentrations, are you heating the water?

I have 6 Stocks and they are multi purposes like cleaing stuff of changing pH and nutrient ratios. I Can decrease number of stocks to 3 but it lowers my control over plant nutrition

1. KOH, SiO2, K2CO3
2.1 H3PO4
2.2 HNO3
3. Ca(NO3)2, Mg(NO3)
4. K2SO4, NH4NO3, KCl
5. Fe, Mn, zn, Cu, B, Mo

For the veg composition ive reported beore, i just dissolve 2.5, 1.5, 1.5, 1.5, 2.5 and 2 ml/l respectively so they are basically 400x, 600x, 600x, 600x and 500x concentrated solutions.

Citric acid is a good chelating agent but not a good choice to lower pH as plant absorbe it as citrate raising pH again. It is a carboxylic acid which feeds bacteria which can consume dissolve O2. I found my micro elements technology needs no more chelation so i don't use citric acid anymore. But if i have to use it i apply it not more than 1/2 molar concentration of Fe which has almost no effect at lowering pH at that concentration.

Yes. I heat water to make a coffee :)
Any question?

pH is 6.2. I dilute final solution to EC of 0.8-1.2 because of high VPD. I Measure run off sometimes to make sure it is bellow 1.5-2.0. mS/cm. pH of runoff is almost always 6

Please don't copy my practices as we don't use the same nutrients.

I'm finding pH6.2 is the sweet spot for my setup also.

EC rarely gets above 1.7 without nute burn showing, currently 1.6 in mid to late flower and currently 1.2 in my veg cupboards.

I don't measure runoff.

Your flowering EC is 30% more than veg?

I don't know what you guys do but i know the only difference in cannabis plant demand for nutrients between veg and flowering stage is some increasing demand for P. The rest nutrients are the same or in less demand. Filling this demand makes no increase in EC.

I also know, unlike tomato, decreasing optimal K concentration during veg in the flowering stage increases secondary metabolism without effecting yield. And this decrement decreases EC

In my veg cupboards my light levels are lower than ideal, temps are low and RH is high so running low VPD also. No signs of deficiencies. I'm growing them slowly hence lower nutes

That makes sense. Im glad it works for you. I'm happy with commercial products. I agree with the nutrient ratios. I also feed the same formula during veg and flower. Only difference is I add mono potassium phosphate in mid flowering up until harvest. I was just curious cause I try to make my own nutrients 5 years ago and nobody in this forum did that and I had no one to talk to about it. Thank you for sharing

Optimal nutrient solution EC depends on VPD but almost independent from light level because VPD changes Water Use Efficency but DLI does not. So changing DLI needs no EC adjustment.
Potassium dihydrogen phosphate is nice although i don't use it anymore. One can tell i use potassium silicate plus phosphoric acid instead of potassium dihydrogen phosphate. I can change NPK ratios independently.

I have used several, I like all the GH stuff including their dry, I dont care for the AN stuff mostly because their feed charts will burn the hell out of your plants at full strength. I have used Megacrop with less than good results but I liked their dry connoisseur before they discontinued it. Now I use Jacks 321 with an mix of supplements and amino acids. I have been a hydro grower since I started growing inside, I think the need is a little different than soil grows
