what is your favorite terpene booster

What is your favorite terpene booster and how do you know it works? Has anyone run a comparative test? So far, I am not a believer and they are all very expensive. Are the results worth the expense?

Good organic living soil full of microbes to spoon feed the roots. The only thing that I have used to increase flavor and smell. All of the terpine booster stuff cost more than my budget allows at this time. Good subject for discussion. I'm curious to see some test results too.

I'm trying Terpinator with my girls. Although I probably should've ran an experiment since I have pairs of plants of the same strain.
