What is your biggest question about growing cannabis?

Cberdahl, you go by the trichs, like DWDuck said, you got at least another month ,maybe longer.
It's just gonna get better and larger, keep on feeding, until you see a little amber. Or they are all milky-cloudy. Nice job with your plant, it's just gonna take a little longer. But you will be glad you waited. Patience.

Agreed!
I am so curious how one would know what the plants nutritional needs are by looking at it. I mean I talk to my plants and they talk back, but they aren't able to articulate specific nutritional needs to me. They just say things like, "we really like that water" or "Is the sun coming soon", they never say, "I would like an additional 3ml of Micro"! Lmao.
Cberdahl I really strongly recommend following a nutrient schedule, but alas...the question at hand is harvest time and yes, follow DankwingDuck 's advice. I am currently growing a plant that was advertised as being done in 42 days. It is currently day 73 since the flip and she is still motoring along. I thought I was going to start flushing her yesterday, but she is still not ready! She may very well end up taking twice her advertised flowering time!
The other thing to realize here is that breeders count flowering time as days with pistils, not days on 12/12 lighting. Generally it take a week to 10 days for pistils to form. If you don't know when your pistils showed up just take 10 days off of your count of flowering days. So I suspect you are actually only at day 32 or so of flowering (based on pistils).
Cheers

Campesino; reading your post again. Thank you for sharing that fact about the pistols. That didn’t occur to me and was great insight. As for the feeding schedule, I’ve followed fox farms before and received less than favorable amounts of trichomes. So now, I still follow the same schedule but add other nutrients from other brands. I literally apply more and more every feed until I see a negative effect, then hold that quantity. I feed once every 2-3 times I water. If the schedule with fox farm isn’t getting me what I want, then what would you suggest? New line of nutrients? A super soil?
Thanks!

You are welcome. I was confused by the flowering timelines when I started growing as well and I think this is a key reason that many growers harvest too early.

I see what you are saying about nutrients. I really suggest that you consider EC/PPM if you are not getting the results you desire. I actually prefer growing in Coco because I can control EC/PPM and plant nutrition very precisely. And I can fertigate (nutrients and water) 4x per day (rather than feeding every second or third watering!)
You can certainly get good results with Fox Farms stuff, but I think it is a little Hot and they rec really high EC. Supersoil is pretty neat stuff too, and is a much different style.
If you want to think about Coco, I wrote a guide: https://forum.growweedeasy.com/forum/growing-community/196078-campesino’s-guide-to-growing-in-coco
If you just want to learn more about EC, I wrote a guide for that too: https://forum.growweedeasy.com/foru...-ec-ppm-and-fertigation-what-you-need-to-know

Cheers!

Great info. Thanks everyone. My question. I am using 2 grow spaces. 1 for veg and 1 for flower. Can I train the plant under a net or tie it down in the veg chamber and then remove the trellis and ties and move it to the flowering chamber and start tucking and tying again. Thanks. My first grow.

i think it would be alot of trouble to take a trellis down without damaging anything but if you can, you could re trellis them up again and the trellis should be raised higher than before..

Thanks Freddy. It is a cabinet. Lights can not be switched. That is what i was thinking about the trellis. I think i can tie and untie. I've never done indoor or hydro.

I would build a pvc frame and attach the net to that . Then you can move it all at once together . There is different size pvc . So you can make it any size you need . Attach the net with zip ties . You should not have a problem move in’s it . And you say hydro . Is it dwc or coco or what . So your going to need access to the roots depending on how your set up.

Thanks Duck. Sorry for not giving enough detail. It is DWC. A cabinet with the veg down below and flower up top. 2 T5's down and 600W LED up top. I'll probably have to top them once or twice then when i move them I can tuck them til they are done stretching.

Bend and tie down to till it is bigger
