What is your biggest question about growing cannabis?

Minoo is exactly right. You re-veg by manipulating the photo-period trait in plants, forcing it back to vegetative growth with shorter nights (<12hrs).
Autos don't have that trait, regardless of hours of day or night an autoflower will just pace through it's lifecycle on its own.

A few questions, And thanks for this its very helpful.

When people say 6-10 ounces a grow is that per plant? Your set up for example? Im about to start my first grow and if 6-10 ounces total grow is all i can expect id rather not grow.

Im pretty lucky to have a basement cool and 10 foot cielings.

2 Platinum p900 lights
8x8 gorilla tent
Kind Soil
Fox Farm soil
6 10 gallon Root Trapper 2
2 vortex 8 inch fans

Would it be beneficial to put lights on side of room during jlower?

Outdoors, the sunlight has already traveled about 93,000,000 miles and going another few feet from the top of a plant down to the bottom doesn't matter. Indoor lights are only a foot or so from the top of your plant, and on that scale there isn't much intensity left by the time it reaches the bottom leaves. Providing light from multiple directions can support extra growth lower down on the plant.

My advice to any that need to develop a feeding schedule is to use a nutrient brand that provides a fruiting cycle starting block. Add all the listed nutrients at 50%, after that your plant will tell you if it wants more or less. Quite frankly I have never used full strength, the leaves act as storage facility and draw out nutrients when needed!
I follow the same master schedule I designed from day one. If I need extra veg time I do week 3 twice, and half way through flower if she needs more time I do week 7 twice. Let your schedule be your guiding light, and don't stray from it to far.

can you switch from growing hydroponically to growing in soil midway through your grow? Ex: veg in hydro, flower in soil

This is clearly experienced art! I am getting closer to this technique, but my god still really tough to accomplish. I am seriously impressed. I did always wonder why you didn't screen this, you were well on your way!! Maybe that's my fault, I have been a using screen with good results, but I never have the perfect even flow canopy!

My biggest question is i have a 600w MH light running at 250w inside a 6in cool tube do i measure my 12in distance from my canopy from the glass on my cool tube or do i use my bes guess to get the distance from the light?

I use 600w HPS and I measure 18" from the glass on my cool tube. If you poke around at some things I have posted, you will see I have great results, considering I have not incorporated a way to cool my tent still!!

15"-18" from my cool tube glass with my 600watt hps for great results. I have had girls as close as 12" with no issues.

Whats up guys! New to the forum. Im getting ready to do my first grow. Just got my seeds from seedsman! My question is when mixing the nutrients in water in a jug can I continue to use the mixed nute water over and over or should I remix every time?

A stipule is a modified leaf appendage located just below or sometimes attached to the leaf petiole. They are uncommon in monocots and usually occur in pairs in dicots. Stipules function to protect the emerging leaf or bud. They can be short-lived abscising soon after the leaves mature.

I have a question(compound question)
ok so if I wanted to start developing my own strain
should I start with a base strain(naturally accrued), or pick one that was man made.. should I cross breed(cross existing strains) or breed for trait( breed with plants of its own strain but towards increasing the goal trait) also would there be a set criteria for it to be officially a new strain?

You know the door is wide open! You can begin developing any strain you want. Just remember, like most inventions.. if you thought it, more than likely someone has done it or doing it now!
I would use existing strains with super cross strains, and create MEGA strains! lol

No Title

Here's what's going: 32x32x63 tent; ViparSpectra PAR450 LED; Bag Seed!; Left is in Coco, using FF Nutes and CalMag; Right is in Kind Soil. Temp averages 77F, 73F at night. I've been defoliating left plant, most recently yesterday. I have to switch to flowering now as I'm running out of room. I will do some LST today, on the left plant, to level off the bud sites. I've deliberately not done anything to the plant on the right other than top x 1. Both seeds were germinated beginning 9/1/17. Day 36. I started feeding nutes late, about two weeks ago and my pH wasn't right. It's been right for about a week.

I'm using this set-up with bag seed to "practice" while waiting for my seeds to show up. Despite my ineptitude, everything seems to be okay and I'm looking forward to any harvest with smoke-able bud.

Here's my question: According to FF's Hydro Feeding Schedule, I should be at week 6 but, am only at week 2 - looking to flush this week and resume nutes next week - should I go to week 3 or, skip to week 5 since I've started my 12/12 schedule today? Based on the pic, and my set up above, any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance for all the feedback!

Yes, you'd want to skip to the "transition" part of the schedule after you switch to 12/12. The stage of life has a much bigger impact on the plant's nutrition needs than the specific week.

I'm not sure what your nutrient schedule looks like. Typically they have 3-4 weeks of "Vegetative" then 2 weeks of "Transition to Flowering Stage" then it switches to "Bloom" for the flowering stage. I was saying that when you start 12/12, to go to the Transition to Flowering part of the schedule. It's more important to match the stage of life than the particular week. For example, if you had a plant in the vegetative stage for a long time, you would keep repeating the week right before Transition until the plant was big enough for 12/12.
