I will be 51 on November 3.

Old enough to remember older siblings of my best friends getting a lid and de-seeding it on an album cover. Good times.
Chong: Who is it?
Cheech: It's me, Dave. Open up, man, I got the stuff.
(More knocks)
Chong: Who is it?
Cheech: It's me, Dave, man. Open up, I got the stuff.
Chong: Who?
Cheech: It's, Dave, man. Open up, I think the cops saw me come in here. (More knocks)
Chong: Who is it?
Cheech: It's, Dave, man. Will you open up, I got the stuff with me.
Chong: Who?
Cheech: Dave, man. Open up. Chong: Dave?
Cheech: Yeah, Dave. c'mon, man, open up, I think the cops saw me.
Chong: Dave's not here.
 
I never was a fan of stoner movies. Cheech and Chong was predictable, stoner slapstick. Jokes don't make me laugh. I only laugh at sarcasm and irony. Also the odd person who winds up on the Darwin Award list.

My old head neighbor has a little brass pipe. It's a couple decades old, he says. The taste and smell of years of buildup that never gets quite cleaned. The built up moisture in the resin. Old head is beyond what weed smells like because it all smells the same out of his pipe.
When I hit it I'm sitting in my '78 Ford Fiesta back in high school. Then I remember it's been nigh over 30 years since high school. What I've done, where I am. Then I get sad. I'm not going to smoke out of his pipe anymore.​
 
alltatup According to a 10 second googling I see that 'whippersnapper's' peak use in the US was 1940. Seeing as how that's more of an old person word, using 'whippersnapper' would put you somewhere around pretty old in 1940. I'm going to say pretty old would fall around 5 years older than the oldest person in here because I don't want to offend that oldest person. Doing the math, you were born in 1871. That's amazing! what's your secret?
 
Here a lid was 4 fingers for $10, a kilo was $90 and I made 22 lids, then came scales,,,, the kilo got cut in half and the lids went to 1.25 oz (others were 1 oz)
 
I cannot argue alltatup. I missed the 60's. From what I can discern from an old picture or two, my dad took full advantage of the 60's while Mom kept herself clean for her singing voice.

The glory I get to witness is the 'legalization' of weed. It's a tough call between witnessing the glorious old revolution or the glorious new revolution.
 
Gingerbeard I have to agree with you there: if I don't live to see the legalization of Cannabis in the usa, I will be pissed as hell. Every year I pray, This will be the year...
