I have done it with knife which i heated over and over again before each cutting.
cons of that is sometimes heat does unwanted thing expands borders of cut area by melting around of knife. It is usefull but i wonder if it is there a better solution for it.

No Title

(1) I start by making "templates" of whatever it is I need to cutout, whether it's a hole or whatever, using posterboard. I make the template so that it's slightly smaller than what the finished size of the cutout needs to be.

(2) Using the template and a sharpie, I draw my cutout onto the bucket or tub. I then use a dremel tool with a cutoff wheel to make the cut.

(3) After making my initial cut, I then use a drum sander on my drill to slowly open the cutout to the exact size I need. This way I can ensure a snug fit of my net pots, access ports, etc. This also cleans up the edges of the cutout very nicely so there are no sharp edges, plastic bits hanging, etc. Sloppy cutouts result in sloppy fitting of pots, caps, etc., and this can possibly lead to light leaks.
