What hot is too hot for autos.

Last time I tracked my parcel Post Canada said expected to be delivered by 7 business days or less. So I heard that Autos preferred less heat indoor. Well what is it 80F ? 85 ? Is it too hot ? My "grow room" is 21C with the lights off but 26-28C when they are on. 20/4 might not be a good option because of the heat. Or I could wait until September when days are much cooler here in the Capital area.

In my experience my autos have been drama queens when it comes to temp. Anything over 82° and they would cup like crazy and start to wilt. I try to keep it around 75°

I've been fortunate. My autos endured heat, cold and stupidity. I got a full (kinda stuffed) quart mason jar, from my two plants. I stoned from a bong load of it now. It's wonderful!! My temps got into the nineties numerous times and down to 57(F) once. Don't overthink this - YOU'RE ALREADY a fantastic grower!

Man I learned that autos hate heat. I'm with plreef here. All four of my outdoor autos stunted hard due to temps being over 85 for over a month. My indoor autos would get cranky anything over 84. My best indoor grow was 12 oz off of 3 plants but it was mid winter and the closet stayed at 72 to 80. Trying an indoor grow now with Bruce banner auto and jack herer auto but the closet temp stays around 85 with lights on. Should be a good litmus test.

I think some strains will do OK with the higher heat some do not. My lemon auto crossess with skunk did great. The NL crosses with blueberry autos did not so good and were dwarfs.

I added another light to my tent and now it get to be abut 85f in there with 2 fans going. My plants haven't reacted to the heat yet, so Im allowing it until I can reduce my light need or if the plants start to suffer from it
