Hi all, To get flowering started, GWE says to switch from 18 - 6 to 12 - 12. What if you go 18 hours no lights, 6 hours lights? Would the plant flower differently?
Are you talking about doing this once to kick start flowering or all the way through flowering? I'm sure it wouldn't hurt anything (but probably would have no benefit other than 6 hours of electricity saved) to do it once at the switch but I would definitely not recommend flowering at 6/18.
You will hurt your yields by doing that. More light equals fatter, denser buds. You cut your light cycle to 6 hours, that gives them half the time to absorb the light and make it into energy for bud production. Hope that makes sense
