What are these white fuzzy spots on this harvested bud?

I harvested these AC/DC plants yesterday, and am trying to keep the humidity down to ~50% on these cool rainy days. I did not separate trim from buds, as I plan to turn it all into RSO anyway.
I had them for one night at 70F and 56% humidity. Then moved them into my tent (the one where they grew) with a dehumidifier. It's keeping relative humidity between 47 and 53, but temperature is up to ~74 - 75F. There's a 100CFM duct fan keeping the air moving a little.

I'm concerned about these white fuzzy spots I found on one flower (so far) . Mold? Fungus? What should I do about it?

I could remove the white spots with a tweezers, and then go through all the buds and look for the same issue. I could remove the entire bud, and any others with the same issue.

I could try to get the crop to dry faster by turning down the setting on the dehumidifier and/or increasing temperature, and ventilation. I've read that drying too fast produces inferior product, but I'm not sure that that applies if I'm turning it all into RSO anyway. Also, it won't apply if the alternative is to end up with a rampant mold or fungus problem.

cutting off the buds and drying them on a screen would speed up the dry, and give me a chance to examine each one carefully.

Under a loupe these look almost glittery, as if they were a bunch of trichomes all squished into an irregularly shaped lump. I have no way to photograph the under magnification.
 
It's funny cuz it kind of looks like perlite. But it's not I would agree with the mold. And really I wouldn't mess with any buds that it's touching. You don't know what that stuff's got in it.
 
UrbZ: Good call! I cut of that one bud, and some of the little white lumps fell off on my desk. They were hard, and 'crunchy' feeling. I grabbed a piece of perlite from the soil in one of my now vacant pots, and compared them under the loop. Pretty sure it is perlite. My plants had got droopy (my original complaint), and it's possible that this bud had touched the soil either while growing, or during harvest, and a few small lumps just stuck to it.

Canuck147: This not to necessarily contradict your original diagnosis. There's were definite problems with those plants, I think due to over crowding, and possibly over watering, so mold is possible. However, with regard to these particular white lumps, they are decidedly inorganic in nature. I'm going to carefully look over all the buds for signs of rot / mold, and probably accelerate drying as much as possible if they seem clean.
 
That does make a little sense. How many places on the plant did you find this and were they all lower towards the soil? I would say that's probably right a little washed up into your buds and stuck to the resin on them.
 
Just the one bud, UrbZ.  This seen after harvest, so no way to tell where that one bud out of six plants was when it was still potted, but it could easily have touched the soil as it was being pulled if it hadn't done so while growing. Gave me a scare. I'm quite sure, that whatever else may be wrong with these plants, the white spots were just perlite that got stuck to the resin. Pretty obvious once they just fell out of the bud onto my desk. Once I had the bud in hand, I did dig into it to see if there was anything weird going on inside (where I'd expect rot if there were any). All green, though quite moist, so I think I'm OK..
