Weirdest shit i've seen

this is a young seedling from mexican brickweed and i didnt do anything to it, it kinda grew weird from the beginning like it wanted to grow several branches, but today i realized the apical growth turn into two fan leaves stuck together... without the growth tip in the middle, just 2 leaves.... very crazy, has anyone seen this before ?

I've seen self topped plants where an apical stem never develops but this is definitely a "new mutant"

It also looks like the nodes are staggered rather than in pairs which is unusual in a young seedling too.
