HYDRO Weird bud grow

Hi all, so im in end of week 5 and i think my buds are not growing, as u can see on this weird petiole leafs i fee the buds should have fill that space??!! What is going on

Week 6-11 is when buds start to really mature and ripen. Those trichomes are progressing well. Nothing wrong as I can see. Just some patience. :)
 
Yeah she looks like a very leafy plant. Some strains have better leaf to bud ratios than others. Maybe a bit of defoiling would have helped at the beginning of flowering. Some plants just produce small buds when compared to others.

Yeah, it’s possible. Issues like lack of available light can cause a plant to leaf up in an attempt to absorb as many photons as possible for the area it is in. What type of light do you have? how many watts does it draw from the wall when it’s on? What size square foot is the plant canopy?
This information can provide an answer if light availably is the only issue here.
 
Yhea plant canopy 2x2 ft at 16 from a HPS 400 and now that you mention this lamp prob has more grows, it came from a grower. My growshop its 200km from me you think i should get a new lamp?
Another battle im having is with ph it goes from 5.7 to 6.7 so everyday i add PH down GHE (nitric plus sulfur acid) to 6.1, so I wonder if this can influence the uptake or anything else

Light size is good. Yes the older bulb will consume just as many watts, but put out less photons the older it gets. You should replace a cheap bulb every grow. The Hortilux eye is a top brand one and will need to be replaced approx once per year. Ph flux over a day is not good. Over 2-3 days is normal. Yes, it can in theory. But the leaves will show signs before the bud sites are effected. What are your water temps at During the day when the lights have been on (close to lights off time)?
 
My guess is the used bulb or the genetics. The RH at night is a bit high, but that’s not related to the bud size.
 
Oh well lets see how it goes, but i have no hope 😟 at least they are frosting really well so I might get some good hash thks Toker1
