I enjoy spending time with my seedlings and watching closely how they grow.
The leaves on some of the plants have got significant waves in them so I am wondering why.
My light is a T5 - 8 blub (total 400 W) with 7 white and 1 pink bulb. My growing conditions are very good right now with 6.0 PH, 72F, 60% RH.
If you were to lay on your back and look up at a T5, with the mirrored reflector, you will be looking at a wide ranging array of very bright and light sources coming at many different angles, as opposed to a single light source like a MH bulb.
My theory is that as the leaf adjusts to the 'best' source of light, different parts of the same leaf are choosing different 'best' sources and turning to get the best angle from the light. This is causing different parts of the leaf to try and turn toward different "best" light, making it wavy.
What is your opinion?
