Watering while on vac

Hey guys, I’m growing my first auto (Runtz auto, Barney’s farm) indoors, in soil.
I’m on the 8th week of the grow and I’ve now entered flowering for good. Everything seems to come along great and I’m really excited to harvest and give my plant a try, but I’m pretty sure that I won’t be able to get there in time since I’m going away for 10 days in about three weeks. Do you have any suggestions on how to keep my plant alive without being there to water it? I did some research and some people say water crystals can do the job. Has anyone tried them out ,and if so, can you post some help on how to use it?
Thanks for taking the time to read this, any help would be welcome!

10 days is a long time for a plant to be on it's own. No one can pinch hit? Maybe an auto watering system. Most I've seen are for hydro setups.

Hey Naps- Look up auto watering systems for indoor plants on Amazon, some will have videos. Cut down on the light time.
I schedule my vacations around my grow, as there would be no way I'd be able to relax. I'd be picturing my girls begging for water and dying a brutal death.
But that's just me. Good luck, my friend.

I have no experience with water crystals. You can do an auto watering system for about 10 days. I did. Couldn't find one available retail or online so I made it myself. It was a drip system with a rez, and a gate valve attached to a timer. I set it up and ran it various lengths of time in order to get the volume of water about right. That part was easy. I also used a small aquarium pump in the rez to help keep it fresh. PH could be an issue and you might have to buy a controller. Since your plants are in the 8th week of flower I'm assuming the stretch is over with. If that's the case the volume of water intake should be less and allow your set up to last a bit longer. How many times will your plants need to be fed during that ten day period? And how much do you feed them at once? You can set up your system for that. Not optimum but it will work as long as the electricity stays on...
