Is it ok to water your plants from the bottom if in soil? 🤒

Yes. That would essentially act the same as a wicking system. I would allow the soil to fully dry out between waterings to prevent fungus gnats in soil
 
Never tried it but know other growers do with good results. Is that a laundry basket your growing in? Love the ingenuity.
 
I’m in the process of finishing a grow with the auto pots l really like them. I pick them up at the local Salvation Army store a set of 4 never used for $15. Never tried them before till now.

Has anyone tried the glass bubbles? Because I always thought it is better to water from the bottom up? Because these bubbles go right in the ground by your stems and you can adjust the amount of water for watering day. Unless you're like me and talk to your plants as you water them. LOL (really do talk with them?
 
Hmm never tried them.. but glass sounds like trouble for me I’m a bull in a china cabinet with fragile stuff.
 
I grow in coco coir in Ebb & Flow systems and watering the bottom half of the bags works great. I think that is how the Autopots work also
