"WATER LEVEL IN 5GAL DWC"?

Transplanting autos from humidity dome in root riots....Can I set the peat pod in water?....The new seedlings are a week old tap roots 8" and many roots coming out of the sides.....How high should I have the water level in the 6" basket....Using clay pellets......I have 600 mh lights on it also.....the first set of fern leaves are now dropping down at the tips....after transplant....just went and put 2 air stones in to see if it needs more oxygen? Right now I have the water level halfway up the root riot.....Just alittle nervous for my girls....They are my first newborns......

I put 3 gallons of water in 5 gallon buckets. I run top feed to it start to finish. Some only use top feed until the roots reach the water. You need air space under the net pot. Good growing !!

The pod that seed is germinated in should not sit in the water. Once roots are out of bottom of basket, you keep an air gap between water level and basket.

Jibblerjoe, that is what I was curious about....i have lowered the water to about 1" to 2" from the bottom of the basket...I did that about 3hrs ago and they already seem to look better.... Thanks Again...Best....

THANK'S FOR YOUR REPLY....everything looks really good right now. I set my last 2 girls in today...Tap Root about 10" long. My first 2 I had the water table two high, and already had clay in the basket...I set the 2 in and laid the tap root on the clay in the water. The last 2 today, I slowly lowered the tap root threw a hole in the basket into the 5gal DWC....then proceeded to lay the clay....Big Difference in the shock level.....But nice to know I think I caught it in time and the first 2 girls will be just FINE....This is really COOL....LOL....
