Water activity

Hey all quick questions. I had my flower tested at integrity labs and seen they do a water activity test. What is it? Does it effect quality or density? What is a good level for that test?

"Water molecules that are not “bound” can support the growth of microbiological contaminants, affecting the longevity and safety of cannabis." Green leaf labs.
copy and paste from the great Google. Seems to be just moisture content?

Wierd I thought my flower was really dry when I took it in. I didn't get a great cure and took it in after a four week cure. So it's just the water that was retained in the flower that isn't bound?
