Washing fabric grow bags. Yes? No?

Hi everyone. I'm about to start another indoor grow and noticed that all my fabric grow pots had a lot of nutrient residue dried on. Should i throw them in the washing machine before I plant? Hope everyone had a good summer.
 
I give mine an H2O2 soak in the sink if I had some sort of possible WPM or bug issue in a grow. In 5 years, I've done that twice. Coco grows, gunk buildup but not nute buildup.
 
I grow in coco. I soak my cloth pots in a strong vinegar solution after every grow to clean off the hard water deposits. They get a rinse before and then they go through the clothes washer with an extra rinse at the end. I've used the same grow bags for a number of years.

Throw them in the washer, all you have to lose is a wife or girlfriend, lol.
Dishwasher works too and the usually have a built in garbage disposal. rall
I generally buy in bulk, use them outside for the 2nd grow and toss them out.
 
The crust is why I don't use fox farm anymore,I used it the first year I grew then I switched to nectar for the gods,no more yucky pots
 
Interesting and that stopped nute build up on the outside of the bag? Do you grow in Coco or soil?
 
Yes every grow. I use grow dots, recharge and rain water (till i run out) . Before the fabric bags would have various nutrients on the outside of bag. When i grow next it will be in 5 gallon plastic buckets and or outside!. These fabric bags have never been a favorite of mine.
