https://www.amazon.com/Fayleeko-Clothes-Stainless-Underwear-Lingerie are the racks I bought MrPNW . They come with 42 clips attached and 10 loose ones. I found good locations on the rack to add 6 of the extras for 48, which coincidentally was the max amount of colas I've had from a single totes harvest. I added a couple of vents in one of the HVAC main ducts back when I started working on building my grow room for my comfort so basement temps are easily controlled.

Yo, since you all seem to be wet trimming to dry, I'm just wondering if anyone ever just chops plant at bottom of stem and hangs to dry whole??
I've always previously trimmed wet too, which was cool, though last mini grow i tried whole hanging and was impressed - only trouble was cause was over Christmas, it got dipped into early plus my housemate kept whacking heating up lol, tho even after 6 day dry and 10 days in jars, it tasted amazing and could definitely tell alot more was there to come out if properly done. Only thing i didn't like was dry trimming i found it's hard to stop unwanted bits dropping into the shake pile. I want to try it again this time though and see how proper dry and cure works with it.

I dry with the leaves on. It slows down the process which brings out the flavor profiles and makes a smoother smoke IMO my last grow and the one currently under harvest are even being cured without being trimmed

I usually chop and hang the whole plant but they've been smaller so it wasn't an issue. Now I'm trying to grow some good sized bushes so we'll see when the time comes.

That is interesting to hear thanks dudes, and yes reason i tried was cause the person who recommended to me said the old grower who told him always did it to slow down process and make it more flavourful and smooth - he swore by it and would apparently hang a whole 6 foot bush upside down!! My last 2 were only 2 footers so was easy, though I'm gonna try it with next few which should end up around 4 foot so hopefully will go alright.

Wet trimming is much easier and your buds will be prettier but not as tasty. Another member on this site, 9fingerleaves, posted how he cures a while back, zero trimming, leaves snd all. I tried it last harvest, produced the dankest smelling most flavorful bud I’ve ever grown. Trying it again this round. If it’s successful again I’ll be investing in a few 5 gallon buckets with gamma seals to cure in.

So you’re saying he did no trimming whatsoever, chopped the plant at the stalk to hand and dry, then put it whole into a seal bucket to cure? I’m assuming it eventually was cut up and put into small jars. I’ve got some white 30 gallon food-grade barrels with screw on gasket sealed lids.

I cut the colas down into sections 6-7†long to fit but no trimming until after curing. It takes 4-5 64oz jars for me to do a whole plant this way but you can fit a plant into a 5 gallon bucket. Smells rotten for about 3wks then it’ll start to smell dank af. The last harvest, once cured, I trimmed enough to fill two 32oz jars to smoke then turned the rest into butter so I didn’t even trim it.

MrPNW, When I get to what I consider about a week out, I stop watering, do a final trim and hurry up and wait for a 10-15% bud moisture content, which in my house takes 14-20 days depending on how I trained the plant, Lst takes longer than topped. Tell me this MrPNW, were you pulling my leg the other day, when you referred to the Trim Bin in the second pic as a child car seat? That was a good one.
