Anybody have any problems with thses ph testers? I added nutes, Advanced Nutes, to water and I keep getting diff readings, is there a curve as to what is acceptable and not. What a ball buster.
An Apera PH60 is the pH meter to go for.
Acceptable pH is 5.8 to 6.2 in veg and 6 to 6.5 in flower if in coco with regular nutes...the nute manufacturer should give an acceptable range
Sorry. I don't have any experience with the Vivosun PH tester. I was using a Hannah Instruments pen but I let it dry out to many times and it got wonky on me so I replaced it with a Blue Labs pen. It's better than the Hannah, IMHO. Good luck...might be time for a new tester.
I have to agree with Bluey on the Apera....for several years I chose to use the cheaper pens including Vivosun which was the best of them....the less expensive pens work for a while but never really lasted in my experience and made me question things at times
I can honestly say Hannah does not make a robust meter...they are problematic even if taken care of...I have had two hannah ph meters and my ec meter is being a real pita...Next upgrade will be to bluelabs..
