well i dont have much first hand experience with any vacuum chamber but i did a lot of research at one point so maybe i can give you some perspective. first of all there are basically three different types; lab grade, house hold grade, and industrial grade. real brands focus on the lab and industrial grade, most of the household grade are just "putting" the kit together and putting some stickers here and there. lab grade are usually made of glass and plenty of house hold grade copy this design using cheaper materials. industrial ones are usually metal and have temp control.
so next thing is a pump is a pump no matter what so im sure you can get it from a hardware store/amazon for cheaper when its not marketed for cannabis related uses. once you have a pump you need a container, you can buy a container and lid with gauge from any brand you think is trustworthy and get it online, you can also use a metal pot or glass container to DIY your own chamber, just have to make a lid with a seal and put some hoses. thats what brands do

Wood hobbyists used these first for pressure treatment, so it’s not a marked up price for Cannabis use. This is a decent price. I bought my set up for less than $100.
Standard glass would shatter under these conditions. They are using acrylic or polycarbonate.
Don’t forget about the high pressure rated braided hose for tubing, the gasket for your top, the fittings that the tubes plug into, the Teflon tape (for best practices when attaching fittings), isolation (ball) valves, tee split, o-rings for sealing the tee split, and pressure gauge. You need them all to be successful.
It’s also best to have a filter on the air/pressure relief side valve enterance to ensure you not pull contamination into the chamber while releasing the top.
