My first harvest ... I had a small Low magnification loupe and shit vision. Anxious as all hell, i envisioned I was looking at a few amber trichomes... that was probably More mental than visual but I did harvest a few top colas. They were everything I’d hoped for but letting the maturity of the plant develop further, led to more fullness to each bud and what I could only call a “refinement of quality†in smoking the finished weed. I had taken a few of those buds and checked them up under more high tech microscope as time and money permitted at a later date only To find a significant population of trichomes both cloudy clear and amber. Something I was surprised to see but was easily identifiable by such a close up view and side by side.
as a result, several of my comments over the last 14-16 months state a wide disparity between mature harvest and expected harvest. In fact today, I posted my reasoning for not really having concerns for a seed suppliers time line on harvesting a seed. My most successful method is observing trichomes. Armed with that, I can’t debate it in any other way.
