Twin Bud

I don't know quite what to make of this. This is purple haze just a few weeks into flower. grown in some happy frog soil on the GH Trio. Seems one stalk at some point became some kind of freak twin. The stalk looks like two conjoined stalks and there are two buds growing at the top. Sort of like siamese buds. Haven't seen this one before, what causes this? I'm inclined to just let it grow and see what happens. Am I in for some giant super double bud, or some mongrel crap leafy bud? What ya think?

I think what you have is a polyploid bud, its a bit of a mutation..wont hurt the plant at all but will produce a pretty awesome looking bud. I've had a few and found the stem to the bud is flat, not round like a normal stem. I think SoOrbudgal s avitar is her latest polyploid. happy growing and enjoy your freaky lady!
