I AM PLANING MY NEXT GROW USING A FRESH 400 WATT 10k RATED MH WOW THATS BLUE!, Then I will use a 600 watt fresh HPS for flower. I hope the plant lives under that blue light.

I wonder why the 10K bulbs aren't more common. They've been out for at least 6 years, possibly longer.

The 10K MH was marketed as a finish bulb. I will be using a 400 watt 10K MH for veg. Then I will switch over to a fresh 600 watt HPS for flowering. My goal is to save some on the power bill here. The 10K does put out lots of UV so I have to use protection for eyes and exposed skin must be protected.

All three seeds popped I can see the white tap root in each Rockwell cube. No light yet but as soon as I see green I will switch on light.

DKN, you won't see green till you switch on the light; you'll see yellow. At least that's my experience with seedlings. As soo as they break the surface I put mine under the light.

Roots have reached the res.!!!! The fun starts today day 8! feeding at 50% soon I will up to 75% of label listed dose! CalMax at 5ML per gal.

DKN you keep saying fresh bulbs . do you test your bulbs before you get rid of them or just change them out I've heard some growers will use a new light with each grow. personally I use my hps for about a year but I check it with a lux meter just curious. I bet those little girls love that 10,000k blue light keep us posted
