Trying something new

I wet trimmed a couple tops of the Pineapple Chunk real pretty and after curing for only 10 days they smelled too good not to sample. I grew this strain before but turned it all mostly into butter and the little bit I saved to smoke took on the cheese side more than the pineapple. This plant is more pineapple. Definitely the sweetest tasting bud I’ve ever smoked and potent af. I haven’t tested it yet with high grade but I’m lit. That I know 😂

The Glueberry OG will rock ya too. Got into it last night. Everytime I’ve grown that strain it hasn’t let me down and taste like blueberries. Highly recommend both strains. Easy to grow, potent and great flavor profiles

Day 59 and the last day these girls will see light. They’re roughly 20% amber. I was going to go a little further but I need the tent lol

This grow is officially a wrap. I trimmed up the Glueberry OG and Pineapple Chunk last night. After curing for a few weeks the Glueberry produced 84g and the Pineapple Chunk 96g of nugs with hardly any fluffy. They were both grown in 3 gallon pots with 360w total in the tent. I’m calling the manifold under a screen a success

Final tally in, nothing unexpected really. This is prime buds only, I don’t bother trimming or weighing the fluffy stuff because I use it to make butter which saves a lot of trimming. 3.5oz Bubba, 4.5oz Hindu Kush, 4oz Glueberry OG and 4oz Pineapple Chunk.

I initially intended on all plants being grown under 14”x15” screens in 3 gallon pots but due to the previous grow not cooperating the Kush were too hard to lay down so stuck with the manifold and put them in 5 gallon pots. A grow comparison wasnt the intent and I know there’s other factors involved (strain differences and lack of space to spread the manifolds out) but I still thought it was worth mentioning that 4 plants manifolded in 5 gallon pots produced less bud than 2 plants under screens in 3 gallon pots. Btw I actually stopped at 4oz each Bc I was tired of trimming and sent the rest of each plant to the butter bin not to mention zero fluff on either plant grown under a screen.

My conclusion, other methods are prettier but if you want more quality bud or a bigger yield, put your plants under a screen.
