I was watching a video showing the harvest process, start to finish. During the trimming stage they used an electric thing. Obviously I’m not going to spend $500 for a trimmer. A quick google search shows a bunch of hand crank trimmers. Looks like an old timey popcorn maker.

Is there an affordable hand crank machine that does the job?
 
How about calling up all the people you smoke out and have them do some trimming? Make it fun and call it a trim party. When people ask what they can bring (as any good guest should do) don't tell them what a trim part is and see what they bring.
Could be a hoot!
 
I use a bowl trimmer and a little hand clean up, most growers are afraid they knock off trichomes but I think they grow very fragile trichomes if that is happening. I have done testing that involves counting the trichomes before and after bowl trimming and had less than 1% reduction in trichomes. Everyone is welcome to challenge my results of course. If I was a better hand trimmer and had more time I would go that route
 
In my younger years, that might have happened. But just thinking about those irresponsible stoners they’d smoke more than they trimmed! Besides, I’m antisocial.
 
I had been using a 19 inch trimmer but I dont grow as much as I used to so the 16 is a new investment. Note: do not put the lid in the dishwasher with a high temp drying setting
 
My mate uses a big electric one, he grows around 12 elbows every season though. The kief that comes out the bottom is killer for cooking with maaannnn!
I get the in-laws over and we do it by hand.
Is eyes of the world from handmaids tale?
