HELP! Trichomes

Hi GWE community, I am very close to harvesting my Royal Gorilla Auto from Royal Queen Seeds. This is my third grow and I am determined not to cut her down too early. My first two grows were OK but I think that I cut them both down too early. I am seeing some amber trichomes on all the buds. I have read on here that some growers wait until they are seeing 25% amber. My question is how long should I delay harvesting? How quickly does the potency drop off once the trichomes have started turning amber? Are we talking days or weeks?

The more you like couch lock, the longer you want to let it ripen.
Many go for 30% to 50% amber, it is all in what you want. I grow mine to different points of milky/amber so I have morning meds and night time put me to bed meds.
Milky, highest THC, amber its changed to CBN.

Rwise is right on it's a preference on when to cut. My two cents.... buds normally ripen at different rates so check on more than one bud on each plant and when you harvest them keep the buds separated by amounts of amber trichomes so you will have a jar for the morning (low ambers)and another for the evening (high ambers)
