What kind of effect are you looking for in this strain? Harvesting earlier (before amber trichomes show and when there are still some pistils not turned brown) can provide a more energizing, stimulating high. Waiting later will allow some THC to degrade to CBN and can be more sedating. Of course there are many variations in between. Lovely frosting showing!
I think I see some amber creeping in on the second set of pics. Trichomes are diffently cloudy. You sound like you are on track to harvest in a week or two. Keep watching trichomes as they can turn quickly. Like Rockman said, depends on what kind of high you're looking for. I prefer just a little amber but everyone has their preference. Looking good!!!
It's the Carson Zorb USB microscope. You're right though it's really tough to get a steady shot handheld. I'll try and get some more shots tonight as the lights come on.
Here's the haul from the 3 gal pot plant. I defoliated and lollipoped this one pretty aggressively. The buds are fat and dense as a result and it was an easy trim. It will be interesting to see how the weight and quality are to see if I want to be that aggressive again or dial back a bit. I'll chop the other one tomorrow probably.
