Trichome colors

I have some magenta trichomes and some ginger trichomes. Is there a difference in anything other than color? You know, THC and terps and junk? Will the M turn G?

Found my answer this morning when I did a loupe. Fewer M. More G. This might be Stella's last Thursday. UL is on the fence.
LDS has neither M nor G. 90% curly brown hair. Lots of color. It is 12 days older than the others but looks weeks younger.
