Transplanting Seedlings from Soil to Coco Coir

I have some seedlings growing in soil that I'd like to transplant to Coco Coir. Is this a bad practice? Any tips?

Will be no problem if they’re still young

Just fill a bucket with clean water, take the plant out of the container and submerge move around trying to dissolve all the soil into the water. You’ll end up with a bunch of roots with a bit of soil, then you can transplant into coco like any other plant
