I recently came across these little beauties in a garden store, they are made from 100% recycled material AND they are 100% biodegradable soooo.......plant seed in solo cup......when ready, plant seedling + solo cup, water as usual!.......the roots just continue to grow through the now softened, biodegradable, solo cup into the new medium......minus any stress or shock:laugh:....happy days:big-smile:....apologies if this is old news but its new to me....I am testing these now!:)

They've been around for years. Sometimes the plants have trouble breaking through those and become root bound because they can't get out before the cup breaks down/softens enough.

I think there was someone on here that had that exact problem a few months ago.

When you transplant, try poking at least a few holes in there to give the plant a bit of help

I have used them many times before. If you keep too moist it gets moldy and like oz said they're not that easy to get tru. Do some experimenting and tell us all about it :)

Tried using these on ny first closet grow and rhe plants got rootbound about 15 days in, if your gonna use them definitely try to break them down a little first.

Awww shit........thought I found something useful then......im gonna just rip it off when the time comes....thanx everyone:smile:
