this was first done out of necessity, but now I do this all the time without hesitation or problems.
i wait till I have at least 2-3 nodes, water the nite before and in the morning I turn my jiffy pots upside
down and press down on the bottom catching the contents in one hand I place root ball in desired
prewartered pot and let the root ball absorb the phed water in the prewatered pot. No need to water
for at least a week or more depending on the size of the pot. I’ve been using the same 4” jiffy pots for 3 runs now....
I’m Cheep and this is easy.

I’m assuming you could have similar effect just cutting the solo cup off? If you used one of those.

Definitely as long as the plant is not root bound and is growing fast. The reason I use jiffy pots I can see how dry thay are Just by looking on the outside of the pot. Lol
