Hi all, so I went ahead and transplanted at the two week mark, I read GWE's tutorial and got the soil out no problem. Much to my dismay these little plants had what looked like miles of roots and they were all knotted together. I forged ahead and tried to separate them as gently as possible but it was impossible, they were stuck good and tight. So I had to pull them and every root I heard snap was like a pin in my green thumb, separated I got them into their root pouches and soil, added some superthrive and gave them a good watering.
This was two days ago, the smaller plant has showed no signs of stress at all but the larger plant had lighter patches on some lower leaves but only two or three, the patches looked like TMV( tobacco mosaic virus) but they quickly turned brown and dried up, as of now I have topped one and fimmed the other today, updates to follow soon with pics.
P.S. the tragedy in the title was felt by me, not the plants.
