I've got a small closet grow, 4 super skunk. First time indoor grow. I have one in a 5 gal bubbler, and three in a peat/perlite equivalent . I have great air circulation but zero humidity. My DWC plant started showing signs of tip burn . I bounced it around the GWE community and determined it was transrispiration. Actually nute burn. And following GWE recommended feeding for Floragro trio. She looks healthy and I understand some strains will adapt. I'd rather not take that chance. What do I do ?? Keep cutting back on nutes ??

When you say zero humidity how are you measuring that? I have never seen a zero measurement ever? If you have a 5 gallon DWC you are going to have some added humidity from that alone. Replace your humidity meter first. If you still show low humidity add an "ultra-sonic" humidifier to the closet/room they will up the humidity without adding any heat. Let's make sure your environment is correct before we start messing with the nutes.
 
I say " zero " , I really don't know. But she is in a closet and she's drinking a quart of water a day. I am unable to get a humidifier at the moment but certainly on my list. Will misting help at all ??
 
You really need to know what your humidity is before you start making corrections. If you need to add humidity, yes misting will help but if your humidity is too high you could just make matters worse! The link is to a temperature/hygrometer for $1.09 delivered to your door. They are reasonably accurate and way better than not knowing at all.
 
A more pricey option to monitoring humidity and temps - I purchased one of those LaCrosse Wireless Forecast Stations and keep the sensor in the tent while the nice visual display sits in the living room where I can keep a eye on both humidity and temps. I covered the little blinking light on the sensor with foil tape so my plants don't see the flashing light every few minutes when its maintaining a connection with the visual display. But I have to worry more about having too much humidity because of the tropical weather here in Hawaii. I found misting only adds a lot more foliage than I need, so I don't mist after about Week 2 Veg, and no misting at all while in flower. Hope it helps. :cool:
 
I am going to have to get one of those wireless forecast station for this winter, I wish I had thought of one of those before.
