Hey all. I was wondering how long I should wait in between toppings.I topped my plants at about 5 weeks. I want to top them one more time.
 
I top mine when they have 5 or six new nodes and you can top as many times as you want until they hit bloom then dont top them anymore
 
Top when u want if Thirveing,each topping slows or(shocks) plant a little just don't do to often or u could stunt. Lol
 
heres some photos. these plants are 5 weeks old grown in top soil. ive only given them water and lite.I topped them 11 days ago. should I top again?? this is my first grow. they are 1 foot tall. how do they look?

Hey mpb, they look gorgeous from the top, but a little stretched out from the side. Can you put the lights closer?
 
Mpb so looking at pictures(they look great) the last ones from the side you can see where you topped them,where the two stems are growing out are called growth nodes (I mean no offence just tying to explain what I'm saying) if you look at the first two sets of growth nodes you can see they are a couple of inches long well when your top two growth node have 3 sets of these growth nodes that are at least 1/2 inch long then you can top them. if you top them before they are 1/2 inch then you will slow the plant down but if you have good growth at nodes then they just shift gears and carry on
