Topping earlier

So I no the manifold tutorial says to wait for 5 or 6 nodes to top but u can do it earlier so my question is whts the earliest anyone has toppd there plants????

The very earliest I ever have was at second node.. Only did that once... All other are at the third..

I think the OP meant how many do you let the plant grow past your intended top before you actually top. I believe the GWE guide says wait for 5th or 6th node and top at the 3rd. I topped as soon as I could get my scissors in without damaging the growth tips.

Oh.. i Top at the third node as soon as very soon as I can get my Snips in there I don't wait for the fourth or fifth or six node that's ridiculous

Ok yea thts wht I wonderd cuz I have a bunch at 4 nodes one at six so I think ima top them tonight or tomorrow

They only reason to wait until the 6th node, would be to make a clone from the top, assuming you are talking about photoperiod plants.

Yes I grow photoperiod plants just never topped a seedling before but now I no it can be done I even topd an extra seedling I have under a t5 @ the 3rd node as soon as it was forming but I think I did it so early it was more of a fim because now tht seedling has 3 tops
