Topping Autoflower

Okay so I read Nebs topic on topping autos and I know she said as a “rule of thumb” or whatever that if the plant doesn’t have 4-5 nodes by the end of week two that it probably isn’t advised. I get that seeing how they’re veg is so short. But my specific strain starts to flower around 35 days. So I’ve got about 2 weeks left until then and my girls are growing they’re 5th node now. Also, Paul Prochaska said he’s never tried topping. I JUST WANT A FAT AUTO YIELD!!! Do you think I should try it??? Help me out please! D.A.A.S.69
 
Just because it says it starts flowering at 35days, doesn't mean that it will, she's gonna start flowering whenever she wants too.
If she's growing good and is healthy ,you will be fine to top her between the 4th -5th. node.

Paul doesn't top any of his autos by the sounds of what he has said. If your plant is healthy and grow strong give her a hair cut. I'm gonna try it on mine even though I haven't grown autos yet
 
Yeah that’s what he said. That it responds well to lst but he’s never topped it and that he personally doesn’t recommend it for any auto. I mean I’m not sure how big they should really be atm. I think they look healthy? 🤯
 
Yeah, for 8buds, an leave a little stem on top of the fourth, so she want split, when you train her.
If you want 8big buds, you need to remove all the other growth too, when it shows
up, and it will.
Pretty sure that's common knowledge.
Another old hippie trick, for balloon, size buds, but cant share that trick, wish i could though, but promised i wouldn't long ago,

If she was mine, I wouldn't wait to the 5th node. to start bending her, the sooner the better, imo, but everyone grows differently, lol

Must be real old school to with hold growing information from others. Have not seen that playbook since about 1996 or so. Maybe I must have just misunderstood that comment above...But I thought we were all here to help eachother get balloon sized buds. 🤫
 
I have heard a lot of “bigger fish” claims before... but this balloon bud size trick seems to only be “hot air” lol 😂
