hey all! fixing to plug in the feeder pump, and in all the reading I never saw anything about flow rates. wide open I have a gentle stream, nothing harsh, but enough I can't see individual drops until. it falls 3 or 4 inches. maybe it don't matter too much, but I want to check with you all before I leap again.

What type of system are you using? On the RDWC setup I built I use a small pump in the rez to some distribution manifolds and then use flex tubing to the nozzles placed in net baskets.

The sprayers keep the base of my rockwool cube soaked with fresh solution and then drain into a bubbler bucket before gravity draining back to the rez. After the root system is established the misters are really their to circulate the solution to the plants-when I did the first grow on this setup I wasn't sure if there would be enough volume change but it's fine with 2 misters/bucket

Just a steady flow will do, just enough to keep the roots moist and encourage them to grow down into the reservoir.
