HYDRO Top-feed system

I bought a tiny water pump in order to install a top-feed system. At the risk of seeming silly, can I use the same tubing as I do with my air pump? Or is there a different tubing I should look for instead?

If the tube fits, you can use it. Just note air lines usually use clear tubing that expose light. That is not good for waterlines as you will def. see algae inside the clear water tubes exposed to light.

Okay, thank you again, sir. I have a ton of blueish tubing leftover from my fish tank set-up. I plan on installing the tubing underneath my rez lid, don’t think it’ll see much light, aside from weekly water changes.

No prob. When it comes to tubing, the opaque stuff can cause issue. No light should enter where your water passes through. You should be fine.
