Too much light?

My girls are 3 days old and 1"-3" tall, I have my 300w Hydro-grow about 20" away, is that too much? I don't want to TPK my third attempt.
Thanks to everyone for helping me get this far.

I agree, 2 stretched in the first day, I think they are the Nirvana Mystery seeds, the stretching occurred before I put in the LED's. The Humidity is at 30% and I have some water bowls in the tent to raise that, I am concerned that removing the dome before I can get it more humid might cause problems, what do you think?

As soon as you see the seed pop drop the dome. And over watering a seed is deadly. The seed is sending a tap root down to find food and the stretch you have is telling the plant to reach that light or die. Get ready to transplant soon. Now if you went hydro no transplant ever!

Have fun :D

No way....99.9% of the problems on this forum are due to the fact that most everyone here is a beginner...the more they learn the less problems they will have.

I have nothing against hydro mind you...did it for a long time...

Don't worry about the 30% RH. There's plenty of growers that would love to have 30% RH and they do fine. Just have to keep an eye on moisture levels a bit more. Remember they transpire more and need to drink more. I know you're trying to dial in, but don't sweat the small stuff, I consider 30% RH small stuff :p

I just put them in cups, this is my journal thus far:
Seeds: White Widows, possibly some random survivors from my freebie seed germinations(I think 2)
Medium: CoCo
Watering: Gentle misting until all is damp.

Day 0 - put sprouts in rooter
Day 1 - 2 girls popped and are 1" tall
Day 2 - 3 other girls popped and are .5" tall, first 2 tallgirls are 2"
Day 3 - 3 late girls are almost 1", tall girls are almost 3", I put them in rooters in cups with domes that evening 300w LED @ 20" in tent
Day 4 - Today, removed domes and lowered lights to 12", Tall girls are over 3", Late girls are over 1".

I was going to wait until I saw some root against the clear side of the cup before I transplanted, I figured that would happen in 2 weeks since I was going to wait until 1 week before starting nutes.
You suggest transplanting even sooner?

I highly recommend waiting to transplant. Wait until the leaves grow past the edges of the cup at the minimum. Since you're in clear solo's you can see the roots. You want roots before transplant. The more, the better. Make sure you put a colored cup under those clear ones so the roots don't get overexposed to light.

Great tip, I will do that now.

When this is all said and done, you're gonna be the best damned cannabis germinator in the country. I guarantee. Your passion shows!

You may also want to get them off the floor of the tent, especially if concrete is directly under the tent. Put a cardboard tray under them or something...

Sorry for knit-picking :p

The whole process is don't stress it to much if you wait until the root is showing to you it will be curling around the bottom of the cup it's leaves I'd go by , right now it has one set 2 sets in hydro I'm feeding 1/4 strength and the next week I'm feeding 1/2 strength because it wants to grow ...Just don't wait to long let it do what it's built to do. And training starts a new stress you have to walk the middle ground. Keep them growing no matter what obstacles life throws at it.
