New to Bubbleponics and the Forum. It is a Pleasure to meet you.
I have had a fair amount of experience growing using ebb-and-flow flood tables. However, this was 10 years ago. The Deep Water Culture method produces Marvelous Growth in the vegetative stage and the roots are copious. Herein lies the "root" of my problem. The 3 Northern Lights Regular from Nirvana seedlings have grown so well that now after a month the lone Male has roots so intertwined with the 2 Females that I am not sure that it is safe to remove it. There will need to be a lot of root hacking involved and my concern is not so much loss of the (VERY} copious roots of the femmes as it is with the debris of dead roots from the Male. After all, it will be several weeks til Harvest Time.
Do any of you kind people have insight into the results of excess root debris in the Top Fed Deep Water Culture System?
