Good evening my council of Cannabuddies,

As some of yall know, I'm currently growing outdoors using kind soil & coco loco in 5 Gal Fabric smart pots. I'm also utilizing LST techniques by tying down my colas with plant ties. My question is, should I go ahead and move my girls to 10 Gal Fabric pots when they start flowering. I'm not trying to create a monster, and I'd rather be as low key as possible. Would the jump to 10 Gallons be playing with fire?

I have about 20 Lbs of kind soil left, so does anyone know if that soil will still be any good come next spring?

well,
I'm currently doing an indoor scrog and I'm growing in
44ltr containers (12 gallons)
and from bottom of the containers to top of the buds is no more then 3 feet in all. but that's picking tops bending branches etc.....
an other thing I've seen done out side is tilt the hole plant on a 35'degree angle.
you can grow a massive plant this way still low and outa site.

as far as your soil still being good.
I can't see why not.

and like I mentioned in my edit.

dig a pot hole in the ground the size on your 10 gal fabric and tilt the hole plant until the butt end of the stalk is almost tuch in the ground level.
and you can leter get as big as ya want this way, while keeping a low profile and make it easier to tie down the big tops

Yeah depending on strain. They get big fast. I found out the hard way that a 6' wide plant is easily seen from the air. Whoops lol

U can do as u please but for me, I wouldn't pot up to 10gal. It's not so much the height as the spread. 1 tall sativa it harder to spot than a wide bush. I take it ur state doesn't agree with growing and spends a lot of money on choppers

Yeah Mane,
I live in the Bible Belt, so bud is still looked at like it's crack, smh. Lol, I'm sooo tempted to put it in the 10 gal pot, just to increase my yield. The goal is to produce enough bud until next harvesting season. You think i could get that with two plants in 5 gals?

hey rooster If you want to go to a bigger pot dig 10 gallon hole and put the plant in it I grow a few plants in the garden and from a distance you cant tell whats growing but put a black pot in the mix and it stands out like a sore thumb. I would also grow like 4barrel suggested low and wide

no .
I got nothing ta read on tilting the plant.

it was a thing a buddy of mine had done to his to avoid prying eyes.
and it worked great.
was able ta grow big plants at low profile. and all the branches stood up creating a flat canopy.

he had to keep tieing the main tops down cuz they would tend to curl up wards to the sun.

oldjarhead100, That's an excellent idea. My wife actually has a garden going right now, but the only bad part is that it doesn't receive the right amount of sunlight for the plants. She does have some tomatoes and cucumbers and peppers that are potted. Maybe I can put all the potted plants together

Let me ask y'all something, at what point is LSTnot effective for stealth growing? Is LST uncommon during the flowering stretch?

I do all of my lst in veg. I will defoilete if its needed .but as long as all the bud sites are getting son I leave them alone . I have a friend who had a noisy neighbor so he pulled his plant over tied it flat to the ground and in a couple of days everything was pointing skyward. the only problem I can see with that is it puts the plant close to the ground and close to the bugs.during my outside grows I spray with neem oil every 14 days plants seem to like it and the bug hate it .it doesn't put anything into the plant (taste, smell) I won't spray close to harvest even though it says you can
