When defoliating in the vegetative state, you say to do it right before you switch to 12/12. My question is, how long do you wait to switch to 12/12, immediately or a certain time period after the switch?

U can defoliant any time during veg and should,to keep bud sites open to the light and to increase air flow.
that being said there’s no set time to switch I prefer to do it immediately. Lol

I like to defoliate 1 week before I flip to 12/12, which gives the girls a chance to recover from any stress this might cause. I defoliate a second time about a week into Flower (2 weeks after the previous defoliation) and then only as needed to expose growth nodes and buds to light and air circulation.
