HELP! To hot or to dry

Yea that's true I'll definitely be looking out at garage sales good idea man! It's a good thing I live where I do tho, I only really need the AC when it's above 25°C Wich isn't to often. But it happens once or twice a week at this time a year

The way I see it: if I'm going to try to grow top shelf bud with top shelf potency, I have to create top shelf conditions for my plants at every stage. It's what I strive for, trying not to go broke in the process.
 
Exactly, though plants can handle a lot more fluctuation in there environment then many people think,
" Top Shelf conditions, Top Shelf Bud". I really like that one.
 
GreenhouseEffect I guess I'm bein a little hyper about it right now, but when I figured out that too much heat inside the large box made my C99 hermie on grow #5, I became much more conscious of what heat and humidity can do.

I haven't yet had to deal with mold and I hope I never do. That's why I have the 50-pint dehumidifier (and to lower humidity in the 2nd half of flower).
 
Jeezusjuiicee As someone said above, the RH is a little low for seedlings, but over all your timing is good for being in flower when it'll be nice and cool outside, so easier to control the heat and the humidity for excellent flowering and bud development in the last month. Which province do you live in? I lived in Calgary for two years when I was a kid. Loved it. We used to go to Baniff.
 
Wow bro thanks for that! Appreciate it. And for the past 2 days my humidity has been at 60-65%! Haven't needed the AC since I made this post lmao. But it's still good to know for next summer in July! And I live in Calgary dude 😎😋 I also like that comment top shelf conditions top shelf bud. It does make alot of sense!

What I mean is that I agree with you, if you want top shelf bud, you really need top shelf conditions.
I had herming and fox tails from the heat this summer, and threw away about half my bud on my first grow, due to bud rot, that sucked!! I do really like that sang though," top shelf conditions, top shelf bud".
It's like " bigger roots, bigger fruits"!
 
GreenhouseEffect I agree with you completely. You wrote that plants can handle more environmental changes than we sometimes think: I wonder if that's more true of outdoor grows than indoor?

I can totally see the differences in my plants when all my conditions are under control: humidity, ambient temp, air circulation, reservoir temp. And I've discovered that the plants grow much better when it's hot if I keep the doors to the grow boxes open, so it's more like keeping the tent flap open, I guess. The grow room is staying around 74F with the ceiling fan on, and it doesn't go much above 80 in the large box, which seems to make the girls very happy.

Not sure what I'm gonna do when they start sending out aroma: I guess just not have anyone over till after harvest...
 
I think it is more true of outdoor plants, and greenhouse plants, too, to some degree. My theory is that a lot has to do with the plant size, larger volumes of soil, sometimes genetics, and also having a more complete ecosystem. Beneficial insects, a constant fresh air supply, a light spectrum the plants are made for, living soil teaming with beneficial micro organisms Etc. All these things are part of how cannabis has survived, and thrived, for a very long time. When we grow indoors, many of these things have to be taken care of by us, some how. We can make that environment really good, and grow AWESOME bud in it, but it is so hard to fully replicate all of nature.
