Title unsure...node question

I recently read from someone that has tri-nodes. I have one, a rando bag seed, that just started to develop node 3 and it only has a single. I was going to play with manifold later, should I just chop the single and work from node 2?

Do you mean something like this when you say tri-nodes?

Yeah that’s what I meant by tri-nodes. I have a plant with a single, not three. Was wondering what to do with it.

Never seen a single node plant. That is interesting! To clarify you dont mean alternating nodes but just a node out of one side? As a plant matures the nodes will start to alternate sides and this is normal. You usually see it sometime after 5 weeks i think. But if nodes are growing out of one side only that is something i have not dealt with.

Seedling, 1st node one leaf on each side of the plant, 2nd node three leaves on each side, finally 3rd node only three leaves on one side. I’m transplanting in a few I’ll try to upload a picture

Here’s my single node

wow that looks mental how is it going to grow on from the bottom of leaf the front or back keep us posted like to see what happens there mate

I couldn’t figure out how it would grow either, that’s why I asked about just chopping it

It almost looks like it self topped... i see two baby nodes but not much growth. How has temp and humidity been? It could just be a genetic freak tho...there is one in every family lol.

Temp and RH have been good for about a week. This was a bag seed the wife stuck in a pot on our deck and we put in a solo a week or ten days ago it was a sad little twig about 8in with just the first set of leaves. I just brought them in to experiment on while trying my auto grow.

If you have the space i would give it some time and see if it catches up. I have had some runts that didnt take off well but ended beautifully! If it doesnt seem to be doing much after a couple more weeks i would toss it as it may just be bad genetics.

ye leave for a bit if nothing happens chop below node then leave again worth doing just to see watch for reference mate
