Timing Question

A plant shows white puff balls around week 3 or 4 of bloom ,the reason for this question is my bloom plants I thought that I had screwed up there light schedule and had to start over but a week later they started with lots of puff balls , so I,m thinking that they went into bloom but took 4 or 5 weeks and that I should think they were in week 4 of bloom for adding nutes and time left

puff balls = the beginning of buds ,the white hairs that start to form buds

Ooooh, ok. duh.

So it took them 3-4 weeks to start to bloom: I have started counting Flower not from when I switch to 12/12, but when I see first pistils emerging. For some reason, your girls were slow getting going, but it seems like they are doing it now. From what I can see (I can't see buds clearly), they look week 2-3 flower??

in my experience from day 15 to 20 of 12/12 they start to form budlets or crowns or puffy balls haha but hormonal changes in plants can take several days or even weeks (veg to flower or flower to veg) so i think they got a slow start but you should be able to keep them flowering from now on, its really hard to see from the pics but i would feed them as early flowering until i see its time for the week 5&6 heavy feeding and bulking up :)

9fingerleafs So you increase nutes in weeks 5/6 of flower? I always start to lower then because that's when I'll see a little bit of nitrogen tox and or small amt. of nute burn on tips of leaves. I have always understood that it's better to start lowering nute amounts at that time.

Will you be so kind as to explain.

(: the week 5/6 its know as the PK boost, its the time you increase only phosphorous and potassium. you are correct this late in flowering nitrogen should not increase but that means only increasing the flowering nutrients a little bit. any brand make their own supplement called PK 13/14. but for most 2 or 3 part nutrients the bloom formula has very little nitrogen and lots of PK so a little increase in bloom will do just fine. anyway heres GWE info on it https://www.growweedeasy.com/7-tips-to-growing-top-shelf-buds#better-buds-nutrients-and-supplements

I had a thought yesterday yes it was only one lol I really don't want to wait until October to smoke some Limpin Louie ,so I counted out the timing and if I stick them in the bloom room now they can transition while the plants in there finish my worry is will it screw them up

yes Its just that they are not getting bright light they only get a little as the light passes . I think I will rearrange my auto room and hang 2 leds over them then they can stay healthy . I really need them done and curing by the 15th of June because we are going diamond mining in Herkamere NY , if they are not I have a friend that will take care of them while im gone
