hi folks. I just checked my latest girls and found that the lights were still on, even though the timer said off. After a major reveg in recent past, i am a little gun shy aned wondering if i should do anything to counteract and avoid re-vegging. I am leaning towards just leaving it (with new timer of course) with the thought that one day wouldnt do it. or - should i give her a day darkness to push them ? Hmmm.. And today was supposed to be a defoliation day as a couple are super bushy.
 
I haven't had that exact problem but I have left my tent open during the dark period. More than once. Each time I didn't do anything but panic, kick myself for pharming while stoned, and close up the tent. The plants were not affected. I'm assuming by your description that you're in flower. I would watch the plant but I think you're good by just resuming your regular schedule w/o any extra darkness.
 
Yes i also don't think 24hrs they'd revert. I've been getting power outages which of course messes with the on off but i don't see any change such as shorting of times on off. Still going 18/6 but i'm gonna really be checking if i'm in flower and by all means get new gear like timers especially if they are inside the tent. Moisture is not our friend in this instance ;)
 
You found it fast, all is good it takes 7 days to revert to veg fully, just get back on schedule. Multiple times could cause them to hermie, but once should not hurt anything.
 
thanks folks. wasnt super worried, but nice vto hear others echoing. no choice anyway wit 6 nice strains lookingv super at 1 wk 12 12.
 
Get a 13 amp timer. I did after going 24 hours light a day for at least a week while flowering. The old 2 amp timer contacts fused. The tent was at the bottom of my garden. I don't go out there at night, and didn't know I had a problem till the plants started to show some really weird growth. The plants revegged. I put the lights back to 12/12 and continued just to see what would happen. It took about a month for the plants to start flowering again. All the sun leaves died. This made a normal 6 month life cycle 8 months. The buds turned airy and were not dense. It still made some usable smoke and edibles, but the plants suffered. These days if the same thing were to happen, I'd just cut them down and start again. The pictures on this site for troubleshooting 'reveg' are accurate. The leaves were no longer serrated, they were rounded.
 
already done. shitty part is I was too lazy to change it over , just moving it from veg tent. never again. and never again use a used timer -duuuh!
