Time to show your grow.

Although I'm growing in coco but i needed potassium supplementation to prevent spreading potassium deficiency. Why? Because its nutrient solution had insufficient potassium? No, not at all. Because i buffered coco using calcium nitrate. I buffered it with too much calcium nitrate? Hummmm! No. I bufferd it using 1/4 of recommended amount just to make sure it prevents common calcium deficiency in growing with coco. But i got potassium deficiency instead of calcium. If you can't see this deficiency obviously it's because i reacted to it really fast before spreading.

This grow is a proof to well washed coco doesn't need buffering with calcium at all. No one told this to me. Or maybe no one even knew it :)

There are many of us on this site that reuse coco and just wash it and not bother trying to buff it with cal. I just add a calmag nitrate during veg around quarter to half the recommended dose. It's worked pretty well for me and I am not experiencing issues with cal deficiency.

Those reused coco are buffered by nutrient solutions during grow. I'm not talking about them. Also I'm not talking about Ca-Mg supplementation during grow.

Have you ever grown in an untreated and compacted coco brick, the one has never been treated by intermediate manufacturers? If I'm not wrong, all coco products you American have access to are pretreated.

Have you ever had potassium deficiency in growing with coco without Ca-Mg supplementation? No. You have not, for sure

This plastic has a very little necrosis of potassium deficiency which can be seen in the edges of the 1st node. I knew growing in these coco needs potassium supplementation so i reacted form the 1st irrigation.

Nah, i think you'll have a powerful plant with those scars... the thing is the roots in my opinion....

I have my own strategy to take clones. I've explained it before but let me show you here.

The head is the clone I'm preparing. As you can probably see I've taken i ts bottom leaves but not its auxiliary buds. Auxiliary buds which are full of growth hormones will make strong root system in just 4 days. After rooting i will cut those auxiliary buds too.

The autos are not being nice. Each one has their own separate quirk so I'm done trying to make 4 different strains happy. The tall girls are a pain in the a$$. Had to tie strawberry pie up...she's nasty. Night Queen has some beautiful spikes filling out. Chem Dog is doing well. the only normal looking one of the bunch, a bit stinky tho. The outdoor plants are still recuperating from the extreme heat and storms two weeks ago. some pics

61 days from flip in the flower room

Temps 22/23⁰C RH 35 to 40% EC 1.5 PPFD 800-1050 pH 6.2-6.3

Still not ready but I need my veg cupboards cleared as they are full.

Orange Zkittlez x Sour Diesel, I'm guessing will be full cloudy in under a week. I will harvest at full cloudy. Wet and dank buds.

Hybrid sativa from my seed. Longer than two weeks. These buds are extremely unbelievably dense and still growing at a good rate. Nothing of note otherwise. Last of the 3 to produce trichomes.

Veg Cupboard #1. Light dimmed to 60% EC 1.3 21/23⁰C RH 80-85%. It's full. 3 OZ x SD

Veg Cupboard #2. 2 OZ x SD

Clones are coming along. The two OZ x SD rooted weeks ago. The 3 WW x SD are struggling. 1 has just rooted 3 days ago, the other 2 have root bulbs but struggling to shoot them out. These were exposed to light since cloning and only last week blacked out. Should eventually root. 🤞

Haha got another person hooked on slurricane #7. You won't be disappointed. And you won't be disappointed with grape ice cream either. 😍😍😍😍👃👃👃👃

And the first veg cupboard clone into the flower room. Current canopy size is about 9'x6', needs work. Really suffered with 3 plants in the 4x2 tent for way too long. Hopefully it will stand up on its own soon. Folded a few over hard by accident moving it from the basement.

Temps 22/23.5⁰C 48 to 53%RH EC 1.2 w/Si & CaMg pH6.2 PPFD 450 to 600 light full height @90% to this one
